After completing the sketches, Tabitha handled the vectors, Kevin coloured the images and Cheeling modified the images to fit the text.
When the images were being hand-drawn, it was hard to predict how much space was required for the copy. Initially when we converted the drawings to vectors, the final images were not standardized due to the irregularities of the text on each page. We had to make modifications to the images to fit the text.
We saw the problem and hence, i was tasked to adjust and make additional modifications to standardize the images and to make the placement of the text less awkward.
In all, i am very pleased with the result of our hardwork and tedious discussions!

As you can see, we used a rhyme for the copy to increase interest in readers. It also promotes educational value through creative writing.
I think our storybook really stood out from the rest because (1) we had a really good copy (i think we did the best among the groups who did rhyming copies) (2) our images are so colourful (3) we used live trace to keep the hand-drawn feel of the sketches (this was pretty rare in the class, i realised?) (4) and lastly, it's so cute!
